Job summary

Qualifications

• BCLS (Basic Life Support) within 90 days of hire required
• CNA certification preferred or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

• Assist nursing staff in delivering care and maintaining a safe, clean care environment.
• Record and report patient data, including vitals and intake/output.
• Support meals, grooming, mobility, and personal care.
• Assist with positioning, ambulation, and use of mobility aids.
• Collect samples and monitor finger-stick blood glucose; report results to RN/LPN/LVN.
• Communicate patient information to the care team and maintain professionalism.
• Maintain infection control and PPE protocols.
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives and risk management.
• Maintain regular attendance and follow policies.
