Job summary

Huron is seeking a Patient Access Manager for the Emergency Department in Springfield, MA. You will provide strategic and operational leadership for all ED registration and front-end revenue cycle functions, ensuring efficient patient throughput, accurate data capture and regulatory compliance.

You will coach and develop staff, collaborate with clinical and revenue cycle stakeholders, and partner with Baystate Health and Huron leaders on process improvements to reduce denials and improve revenue

Qualifications

• U.S. work authorization required
• Bachelor's degree required
• Patient Access / revenue cycle leadership experience
• 5+ years healthcare operations experience

Responsibilities

• Manage daily Emergency Department Patient Access operations and data capture.
• Improve registration quality, throughput, and revenue cycle performance.
• Lead Patient Access staff through coaching and development.
• Collaborate with clinical and revenue cycle stakeholders to reduce denials and improve revenue capture.
• Ensure compliance with EMTALA and privacy regulations.
• Support staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Partner with Baystate Health and leadership on strategic initiatives.
