Job summary

Northwestern Medicine Kishwaukee Hospital seeks an Emergency Department Technician for the In-House Registry. You will support the ED team by providing patient care within a defined scope and assisting with monitoring, treatments, and essential nursing tasks as directed by RNs and physicians.

The role emphasizes safety, rapid data collection, and collaboration with clinicians to ensure timely care in a busy ED. Prior EMS or hospital experience is valued; BLS, ACLS/PALS certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent is required.
• Current EMT-Paramedic or EMT-B licensure in Illinois with relevant experience.
• Required CERT Basic Life Support certification.
• ACLS and PALS certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care and monitor patients within scope of practice.
• Collect data, assist with procedures, and report findings to RN and physician.
