Job summary

Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo, MI is seeking an EMT-P Paramedic for the Emergency Department on a PRN/part-time basis. Under RN supervision, you will provide direct patient care in the Trauma & Emergency Center.

Candidates must have an accredited paramedic program, Michigan EMT-P license, BCLS and ACLS, and strong customer service skills. PALS preferred within 1 year of hire.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Accredited paramedic program completed.
• Three years’ experience as Paramedic preferred.
• Current EMT-P license in Michigan.
• BCLS Certification required.
• ACLS Certification required.
• PALS Certification preferred within 1 year of hire.
• PHTLS/BTLS preferred after hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Trauma & Emergency Center.
• Follow Bronson Methodist Hospital policies and procedures.
• Assess pediatric to geriatric patients per guidelines.
• Maintain patient safety and confidentiality.
• Assist with emergency response and equipment readiness.
