Job summary

Texas Health Denton is seeking a Paramedic (EMT-P) to join the fast-paced, high-volume Emergency Department. The ideal candidate will provide safe patient care under physician delegation, working nights (7p–7a) across three shifts, with weekend and holiday requirements.

You will document accurately in the EHR and collaborate with physicians, RNs, respiratory therapy, and other team members to deliver high-quality care in a hospital setting. Comprehensive benefits support your professional growth.

Responsibilities

• Administers IV fluids and medications under physician delegation, including ACLS drugs via barcode verification.
• Completes documentation in the electronic health record.
• Maintains airway, mobility, hygiene, and patient comfort.
• Applies antiembolic stockings and sequential compression devices.
• Manages cervical collars, defibrillation, oxygen therapy, nasal cannula/oxygen masks.
• Performs ultrasound-guided peripheral IV access and port draws.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the care team.
