Job summary

Texas Health Alliance in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Paramedic (EMT-P) for our fast-paced Emergency Department. This night-shift, full-time role supports a busy ED with 100–200 patients/day.

You will provide safe patient care under physician delegation, perform IV therapy and medications administration, manage airways, defibrillation, and related duties, and document accurately in the EHR, with opportunities for growth within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Paramedic certification and license in Texas
• Experience in high-volume emergency care
• Skilled in IV therapy and medications administration

Responsibilities

• Administer IV fluids and medications per protocol
• Document accurately in the EHR
• Monitor airway, fluids, mobility, and hygiene needs
• Apply antiembolic stockings and devices
• Cervical collar management
• External defibrillation
• Oxygen therapy via cannula or mask
• Oral airway management
• Ultrasound-guided peripheral IV access
• Blood draws from ports
• Other duties as assigned by the care team
