Responsibilities

• Administers IV fluids and IV medications under physician delegation.
• Uses barcode medication verification (BMV) during administrations.
• Provides airway, intake, elimination, sleep, rest, mobility, and hygiene care.
• Applies antiembolic stockings and sequential compression devices.
• Cervical collar management and external defibrillation.
• Ultrasound-guided peripheral IV access and blood draws.
• Completes accurate documentation in the electronic health record.
