Responsibilities

• Assists Emergency Department staff with delegated tasks of direct and indirect patient care.
• Initiates and provides care within the scope of practice as defined by law.
• Provides patient care to a wide range of emergency conditions across pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations.
• Performs procedures including intubation, medication administration, and bedside care.
• Works as part of a collaborative care team with nurses, physicians, respiratory therapists, and technicians.
