Job summary

Baptist Health Louisville is hiring a full-time Day shift RN for our Observation Unit, 36 hours per week. The unit supports ED and telemetry with high nurse-to-patient ratios and short‑term evaluation to determine admissions.

Ideal candidates have active KY RN license, BCLS and ACLS, with telemetry, ED, ICU/CCU or acute-care experience. Responsibilities include assessments, care plans, adherence to policies, and continuous evaluation of patient responses.

Baptist Health Louisville is expanding, and our 30+ bed Observation Unit plays a key role in supporting the Emergency Department and telemetry units. We care for low‑acuity patients who need short‑term evaluation before determining whether admission is required. This fast‑paced unit offers strong nurse‑to‑patient ratios and is well‑suited for nurses with Telemetry, ED, ICU/CCU, or other acute‑care experience.
