Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and active RN license in Ohio.
• Minimum 3 years clinical nursing experience; leadership roles such as precepting, charge role, or committee leadership.
• Specialized knowledge: process improvement and project management; strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient with computer applications as appropriate.

Responsibilities

• Oversee patient care delivery during operating hours and ensure nursing process is documented and properly recorded.
• Develop and manage annual operational and capital budgets; manage staffing and resources to meet objectives.
• Recruitment, retention, evaluation, orientation, and ongoing development of personnel.
• Facilitate leadership development and participate in committees; support shared governance and interdepartmental relations.
• Promote evidence-based practice and dissemination of research; monitor department goals and outcomes.
