Qualifications

• Baccalaureate degree in nursing required.
• Master's degree in Nursing or related field is preferred.
• Current Ohio RN license.
• Minimum of three years RN clinical experience and two years management experience in a relevant care setting required.
• Holds a current certification in nursing administration or area of clinical expertise; certification must be achieved within eligibility timeline.
• Prior leadership and management experience required.

Responsibilities

• Oversees plans, organizes, manages and evaluates patient care operations for a designated area on a 24-hour basis.
• Develops strategic short-, mid- and long-term goals and processes to enhance unit operations.
• Guides, coaches, and evaluates the work performance of nursing staff in the area.
• Promotes ongoing collaboration with other patient care departments and related areas.
