Qualifications

• Baccalaureate degree in nursing required.

• Current Ohio RN license.
• Minimum of three years RN clinical experience and two years management experience in relevant care setting required.
• Certification in nursing administration or area of clinical expertise; or certification must be achieved within the timeline of eligibility.
• Prior leadership and management experience required.

Responsibilities

• Oversees plans, organizes, manages and evaluates patient care operations on a 24-hour basis.
• Plans and develops short-, mid- and long-term goals to enhance unit operations.
• Evaluates achievements and problems in meeting goals.
• Coaches, guides, and evaluates the work performance of patient care staff.
• Promotes collaboration with other patient care departments related to operations and services.
• Develops, administers and manages unit budgets and cost-saving initiatives.
