The Valley Health System (VHS) is seeking an RN to provide direct and indirect patient care in a fast-paced cardiovascular/acute care setting at a Henderson, NV facility. You will lead the clinical team, coordinate multidisciplinary care, and support patient-centered outcomes through evidence-based practice.

BSN preferred with 1+ year acute care experience and supervisory capabilities. Current NV RN license, BLS, ACLS/PALS/NRP or related training required on hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing. BSN required.
• Minimum of 1 year full-time or 3 years part-time experience in acute care.
• 1–3 years supervisory experience preferred.
• Proficient in physical assessment of cardiovascular patient and fluent in cardiovascular anatomy/physiology.
• Comfort with 12-lead EKG interpretation and cardiac arrhythmias.
• Stress testing experience preferred.
• Current NV RN license. BLS. ACLS/PALS/NRP or required specialty training (current on hire).

• Assumes shift responsibility for planning and provision of direct and indirect nursing care.
• Coordinates multi-disciplinary team members to obtain safe health care outcomes.
• Provides professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
