Job summary

Valley Health System in Nevada's Las Vegas area seeks an experienced registered nurse to join Summerlin Hospital's cardiovascular and acute care teams. The role provides leadership, coordinates a multidisciplinary staff, and delivers patient-centered care aligned with VHS and UHS standards.

Candidates must hold a BSN, Nevada RN license, BLS, and have solid cardiac care skills, including 12-lead ECG interpretation.

Qualifications

• BSN from an accredited nursing program.
• Current Nevada RN license; BLS required; ACLS/PALS/NRP or required specialty training.
• Minimum 1 year full-time or 3 years part-time acute care; supervisory experience preferred.
• Proficient in cardiovascular assessment and 12-lead ECG interpretation.
• Knowledge of stress testing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect nursing care to patients, families and care partners.
• Coordinate multi-disciplinary team to obtain safe, optimal healthcare outcomes.
• Provide professional leadership and support to the healthcare team, upholding Patient Centered Care.
