Job summary

The Valley Health System in Nevada is hiring an experienced registered nurse (RN) at Summerlin Hospital. The role requires a BSN and an active Nevada RN license, with BLS and ACLS/PALS/NRP certifications. One year of acute care experience and supervisory exposure are preferred.

Qualifications

• BSN required and RN license in NV (active).
• 1 year full-time or 3 years part-time acute care nursing experience.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Current BLS certification; ACLS, PALS, NRP and/or required specialty training/certification.

Responsibilities

• Assumes shift responsibility and directs delivery of direct and indirect nursing care.
• Coordinates multidisciplinary team to achieve safe, optimal health outcomes.
• Provides professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
• Oversees and guides staff under supervision; supports Patient Centered Care and Service Excellence.
