Job summary

The Valley Health System, serving Las Vegas and Southern Nevada, seeks an experienced RN to provide direct and indirect cardiovascular nursing care. You will coordinate a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes and support 24/7 operations in a busy hospital setting.

The role requires a BSN, at least 1 year of acute care nursing and 1–3 years of supervisory experience. Proficiency in cardiovascular assessment and ECG interpretation is essential; stress testing

Qualifications

• Must be proficient in physical assessment of the cardiovascular patient and fluent in cardiovascular anatomy and physiology.
• Comfort with 12-lead EKG interpretation and cardiac arrhythmias.
• Stress testing knowledge or experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assumes shift responsibility and accountability for planning and provision of direct and indirect nursing care to patients and families.
• Coordinates multidisciplinary team members and provides professional leadership to nursing staff.
• Supports activities that align with the facility vision, mission, and goals; demonstrates Service Excellence.
