UTMB Health seeks a Nurse Clinician II (RN) for the ED Clear Lake unit on the night shift (7p-7a). The candidate must hold a Texas RN license, BLS, and have ED experience, with ACLS and PALS/ENPC certifications upon hire or within designated timeframes.

The role emphasizes comprehensive patient assessment, care planning, and collaboration with the inter-professional team to ensure safe, high-quality care aligned with UTMB policies and performance standards.

Formación

• RN license in Texas required.
• Current BLS certification.
• ACLS & PALS/ENPC certifications required.
• TNCC to be obtained within 6 months from date of hire.

Responsabilidades

• Assesses, plans, implements, evaluates, and documents daily patient care.
• Administers medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Maintains safety and continuity of care with hand-off tools and inter-disciplinary rounds.
• Delivers culturally appropriate nursing care per UTMB policies and standards.
• Provides patient/family education and supports readiness to learn.
