Qualifications

• Licensed RN in Texas with two years of clinical experience.
• Current BLS certification.
• ACLS and PALS/ENPC certifications required.
• Experienced ED nurses must be on hire.
• Non-experienced ED nurses must obtain within 6 months of hire.
• TNCC must be obtained within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assesses, plans, implements, evaluates, and documents daily patient care.
• Executes physician orders and administers medications and treatments.
• Performs routine technical procedures in specialty area.
• Delivers patient/family education using Teach-Back methods.
• Plans, coordinates, and prioritizes patient care activities with the inter-professional team.
