Essential Scribe is actively hiring Medical Scribes to work side-by-side with healthcare providers in the ED, documenting patient visits into the EMR as events unfold. This paid position includes paid training and mentors, offering an extensive base of medical terminology and on-the-job clinical exposure.

Qualifications

• College degree or currently enrolled in a 2-4 year program.
• Minimum 2-4 shifts per week.
• Ability to multi-task and clearly communicate, orally and in writing.
• Responsible, mature and enthusiastic about healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Document patient visits in the EMR during clinician encounters.
• Shadow healthcare providers in the ED to learn medical terminology.
• Maintain accurate and complete medical records with attention to detail.
