Essential Scribe is hiring Medical Scribes to document patient visits in the ED alongside physicians and other providers. The role offers paid training and real-world clinical exposure, with a schedule of 2-4 shifts per week.

No prior experience is required, and the company provides mentorship and ongoing education to support career development. Ideal candidates are pursuing or interested in healthcare careers, and will gain extensive medical terminology knowledge and on-the-job experience while

Qualifications

• College degree or current enrollment in a related field.
• Ability to multi-task and manage several responsibilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable using computers and standard software tools.
• Typing speed of 65 WPM or faster.
• Ability to learn and adapt in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Responsibilities

• Document patient visits into the electronic medical record system while clinicians see patients.
• Shadow healthcare providers and assist with charting in real time.
• Maintain accuracy, confidentiality, and timely data entry during busy shifts.
