Essential Scribe is seeking motivated individuals to work as medical scribes in the ED, documenting patient visits into the electronic medical record while providers are present. No prior experience is required, and the role offers paid training and hours to learn medical terminology and clinical workflows.

Qualifications

• College degree or current enrollment in a 2-4 year program.
• Minimum 2–4 shifts per week.
• Ability to multitask.
• Clear verbal and written communication.
• Responsible and mature with a passion for healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Document patient visits into the EMR while following providers in the ED.
• Shadow healthcare providers and assist with charting.
• Gain on-the-job clinical exposure and hours.
• Participate in ongoing training and education.
