Qualifications

• 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience required.
• RN licensure in good standing required.
• BLS required; ACLS preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership and mentoring skills to manage staff.
• Ability to oversee complex patient care and ensure regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Supervises nursing and support staff, delegating tasks to appropriate personnel.
• Evaluates staff performance and provides coaching to maintain high standards of care.
• Oversees assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
• Collaborates with healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and resolve flow issues.
• Ensures effective communication among physicians, patients, families, and departments during shifts and handoffs.
• Monitors patient flow, bed assignments, and resource utilization.
• Leads infection prevention efforts and ensures hand hygiene and PPE adherence.
• Participates in quality improvement initiatives and audits.
