Job summary

Nicklaus Children's Health System in Miami, FL is seeking a Nursing - Management leader for the Emergency Services department. You will assess, plan, facilitate and evaluate patient flow, provide clinical leadership, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to improve care delivery.

The ideal candidate has a BSN, Florida RN license (or eNLC), BLS, PALS, CPI, 2–4 years of RN experience, and prior charge nurse experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in BSN from an accredited school
• RN licensure in Florida or Multi-State Compact (eNLC) – active and in good standing
• CPR/BLS – active and in good standing
• PALS – active and in good standing
• CPI – active and in good standing
• 2–4 years of RN clinical experience
• Experience as a Charge Nurse

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor patient flow, support throughout admission to discharge
• Identify clinical strengths and coach staff to improve outcomes
• Lead staffing adjustments to meet census and collaborate with leaders
• Promote cost containment and maintain appropriate supplies
• Participate in nursing governance and committees
• Educate patients and families and document plans of care in FHIR/EMR
• Ensure regulatory compliance and infection prevention on shift
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve care goals
