Job summary

The role requires a BSN, active Florida RN licensure (or eNLC), CPR/BLS, PALS, CPI, and 2–4 years RN experience with prior charge nurse involvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in BSN from an accredited school of nursing.
• RN Licensure in Florida or Multi-State Enhanced Nursing License Compact (eNLC) in good standing.
• CPR - American Heart Association BLS in good standing.
• PALS - American Heart Association in good standing.
• CPI - Crisis Prevention Institute in good standing.
• 2-4 years of RN clinical experience.
• Experience as a Charge Nurse.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and monitors patient flow, supporting patients through admission, transfer or discharge.
• Mentor and coach staff to improve performance and clinical outcomes.
• Collaborate with leadership to align staffing with census and hospital needs.
• Promote cost containment and ensure appropriate supplies and par levels.
• Lead daily huddles and communicate department and hospital updates.
• Ensure education on disease processes and health needs is documented in the EHR.
• Administer direct patient care as needed during high census or staffing gaps.
• Oversee nursing care processes including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
