Job summary

Nidec Mobility America Corporation (NMOA) is seeking an energetic Production Supervisor for the 3rd shift (9:30pm–5:45am, Mon–Thu) in the ECU production area. You will plan, supervise, and coordinate activities to drive quality, safety, productivity, and on-time delivery.

You will oversee coordination with Technical Service and Maintenance for ECU lines FA and PSS, coach temporary workers and new hires, monitor budgets, and lead continuous improvement efforts including 8D quality processes and

Qualifications

• Experience supervising manufacturing teams in an ECU/production environment.
• Familiar with production discipline and quality systems (ISO/quality programs).
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise, and coordinate production activities for Quality, Safety, Productivity, Timeliness, and Equipment response.
• Oversee coordination of Technical Service/Maintenance for ECU lines FA and PSS.
• Retain temporary workers and new hires by fostering a learning culture and teamwork.
• Assess performance on schedule days and coach workers to meet quality and production targets.
• Support operating budgets for areas within the group.
• Oversee material flow and production to support monthly production plans.
• Plan and control production capacity and resources to meet demand.
• Identify needed labor to ensure correct flow to meet schedule.
• Support quality and cost improvement programs; participate in ISO-related efforts.
• Coordinate with other departments to support operations and continuous improvement.
