Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Implements and enforces safety and good housekeeping standards by utilizing 1+5s principles.
• Leads and supports the company’s Quality Management System.
• Maintains First5 boards and conducts First5 meetings.
• Trains, develops and evaluates employees.
• Directs and coordinates the activities of employees engaged in production.
• Maintains operating expenses by reducing labor and improving production yields.
• Reads and analyzes charts, work orders, production schedules and other reports to determine production requirements and to evaluate current production.
• Maintains and approves employee time records.
• Coordinates operations and activities within or between departments / cells.
• Plans and establishes work schedules, assignments and production sequences to meet production goals.
• Inspects materials, products and production equipment to detect defects or malfunctions.
• Resolves employee problems and complaints.
• Meets deadlines.
• Directs and supports continuous improvement through the use of lean and 6 sigma methodologies.
