Job summary

Swift Transportation is seeking an ECT Planner to manage in-transit loads and coordinate resources for on-time delivery. You will handle driver and customer issues, dispatch trucks and trailers, and proactively communicate changes to customers as needed.

The role requires strong communication, the ability to work under pressure, and solid problem-solving abilities. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with compensation based on experience and location in the United States.

• Previous driving experience or customer service experience required.
• Must have strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Dispatch necessary resources (driver, truck, trailer) to take care of immediate issue.
• Monitor loads and resolve issues that may affect the scheduled delivery/pickup times. Proactively inform customer accounts and/or customer of changes.
• Resolve driver issues within authorized limits.
