Job summary

AdventHealth in Shawnee, Kansas is seeking a part-time aid to support children in development across cognitive, communication, social, and self-care areas. You will assist therapists and paraprofessionals, help with daily routines, and participate in family conferences as needed.

The role involves preparing materials, supervising classroom activities, and maintaining a safe, hygienic environment while collaborating with ECSE, PT, OT, SLP, MT, and BCBA team members.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with children and families.
• Experience with therapeutic team support is a plus.
• HIPAA privacy guidelines knowledge is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with cognitive, communication, and self-care development.
• Support therapy sessions and parent conferences.
• Maintain classroom organization and supplies.
