Job summary

Anova Education is seeking a Primary/Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) Coordinator to ensure students aged 3 through 2nd grade receive necessary supports and accommodations. The role blends educational leadership, advocacy, and administrative duties in the Special Services Department.

The coordinator leads IEP processes, helps develop 504 plans, oversees ESY coordination, and collaborates with district leadership to close gaps in academics and behavior for students with disabilities.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Education with Vermont Director of Special Education endorsement.
• License in Early Childhood Education and/or Early Childhood Special Education.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead IEP related meetings for ages 3 through 2nd grade to ensure student-centered planning.
• Assist in developing 504 plans and EMTSS liaisons with leadership oversight.
• Support in hiring, supervision and evaluation of special education staff.
• Coordinate data collection for Child Count, Child Find and state reporting.
