Job description

This is an hourly position $25-$30 an hour.

SUMMARY:

  • Responsible for recruiting licensed ECE sites to become ECSC Partner Sites
  • Responsible for matching ECSC Corps Members with ECSC Partner Sites
  • Responsible for follow-up and support for all ECSC Encore Substitutes and Volunteers placed at ECSC Partner Sites including adherence to the ECSC Substitute and Volunteer Handbooks.
  • Responsible for maintaining accurate Member and Site Data

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.

  • Schedule and Host monthly Site Information Sessions
  • Schedule In-Person Initial Site Visits to determine eligibility
  • Partner with site Directors to determine individual program needs based on evidence or data with regard to workforce development and ECSC.
  • Evaluate ECSC Site Directors and adherence to Partner Site Criteria
  • Establish and maintain open, collaborative and supportive relationships with site ECSC Partner site Directors, staff, and ECSC support staff and Corp Members.
  • Maintain NEON with accurate site information
  • Maintain NEON with accurate matching information
  • Work closely with the Recruitment Coordinator to determine areas of need
  • Support on-site Preschool Director/ECSC Liaison with implementation, training and maintenance of ECSC Encore Substitutes and Volunteers.
  • Report personnel and student issues/concerns with or from ECSC Corps Members if they arise, to ECSC CEO and Program Specialist.
  • Exhibit and maintain open lines of communication with ECSC Administration and support staff and with Partner Site Directors and matched Corp Members.
  • Attend director/staff meetings and/or training (as needed) and participate collaboratively in the design and delivery of all ECSC training for ECSC site directors and support staff with Program Specialist
  • Demonstrate experience with diverse learners and collaborative problem solving with positive results for families, programs and ECSC Encore Substitutes and Volunteers.
  • Maintain confidentiality at all times.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND TRAINING:

Various education qualifications are acceptable for this position.

Bachelor Degree or some college *Preferred. (We are really looking for heart and emotional intelligence!)

Organizational skills and self motivation *Required

EXPERIENCE

Three (3) to five (5) years preschool teaching, administrative or other early childhood industry experience in a licensed preschool program or adjacent industry experience required.

Sales or recruitment experience preferred.

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE

  • Knowledge of CDEC licensing rules and regulations. Demonstrate highly effective recruitment and sales skills. Ability to work with and present to large groups. Strong ability to multitask, manage a flexible schedule, and effectively use worktime with little supervision.
  • Proficient in Google Workspace and/or a quick study with all things computer related!
  • Some travel required to ECS sites throughout the state, focusing on metro Denver.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, and feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, and sit. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus.
