Job Description
Economists at Amazon partner closely with senior management, business stakeholders, scientists and engineers, and economist leadership to solve key business problems across various domains such as Amazon Web Services, Kindle, Prime, inventory planning, international retail, third-party merchants, search, pricing, labor and employment planning, and benefits management. Amazon Economists build econometric models using our world-class data systems and apply techniques from applied macro/time series, microeconomics, econometric theory, empirical IO, health, labor, and public economics. You will work in a dynamic environment, developing econometric techniques for large datasets, addressing quantitative problems, and contributing to automated systems design.
