Job summary

Blinn College District is seeking a Full Time Instructor of Economics at the Brenham Campus. The instructor will deliver economics courses, maintain LMS-based instruction, and engage students through office hours and timely feedback.

Responsibilities include developing syllabi, administering assessments, advising students, and maintaining professional standards within the Academic Affairs division. Target hire date is January 4, 2027, with on-campus duties Monday–Friday.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in Economics (or a Master’s with at least 18 graduate credits in Economics).
• Commitment to student engagement, success, and instructional excellence.
• Ability to use the LMS and instructional technologies to support learning.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instruction across courses at multiple times/locations.
• Provide timely feedback, report grades, and assess student progress.
• Advise students and uphold academic integrity and college policies.
• Develop syllabi, assessments, and course objectives.
• Maintain office hours and effective communication with students.
