Howard Community College is seeking an Economics Adjunct Faculty member to teach macro- and micro-economic courses. This part-time position includes teaching classes at the Columbia and Laurel College Center campuses in Maryland, with a focus on in-person instruction and course delivery using the Canvas learning management system.
Applicants must have a master’s degree in economics or a related field, along with preferred prior teaching experience. The role offers a flexible schedule with up to 25 hours per week teaching responsibilities.
Economics Adjunct Faculty Pool
Location: Howard Community College main Columbia and Laurel College Center campuses, Maryland
Class type: Monday through Friday, day and evening classes up to 25 hours per week.
Schedule: Part‑time adjunct faculty may teach up to two courses per semester.

Assist the Department of History and Economics by teaching a variety of macro‑ and micro‑economic courses as part of a faculty pool.
A master’s degree in economics or a related field.
Applicants must be eligible to work in the United States and reside within commuting distance of Maryland (Virginia, West Virginia, Washington D.C., Pennsylvania). Relocation assistance is not provided.
