Howard Community College is seeking adjunct faculty to teach Criminal Justice courses at the Columbia and Laurel campuses. Adjuncts typically teach up to two classes per semester and work up to 25 hours per week, with daytime and evening options.
Candidates should have a master's degree in Criminal Justice or related field, be familiar with CANVAS, and proficient in Microsoft Office. Pre-employment background checks and living in or relocating near Maryland are required.
Position Type: Part Time (Non-Exempt). Hours: No more than 25 hours per week. Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, day and evening classes.

Pre-employment criminal background investigation is a condition of employment.
No work visa sponsorship. Only employees living in states contiguous to Maryland are eligible (Virginia, West Virginia, Washington DC, Pennsylvania). Candidates must live in the commutable area or be willing to relocate at their own expense.
