Howard Community College in Maryland is seeking qualified individuals to join an adjunct (part-time) pool for Art History and Art Appreciation within the NASAD-accredited Visual Arts program.
Instructors prepare course materials, maintain a Canvas LMS site per department templates, provide timely feedback and grading, and attend required meetings and trainings. A Masters degree or higher is required; prior teaching experience is preferred.

The Department of Visual Arts is seeking individuals to be included in a pool of adjunct (part-time) faculty for our NASAD accredited program.
The department head or area coordinator will review applicants for these positions when a need arises.
Faculty are expected to prepare course materials, maintain an up-to-date Canvas (Learning Management System) site for their course(s) following the department's template, provide timely feedback and grading of student work, attend the required Division and Departmental kick-off meetings, and complete mandatory trainings.

Due to HCC policy, only employees living in states contiguous to Maryland are eligible for work at HCC and include Virginia, West Virginia, Washington DC, Pennsylvania. Candidates must live in the commutable area or willing to relocate at their own expense if offered the position because HCC does not offer relocation benefits.
