Restore NYC seeks a dedicated Economic Empowerment Advocate to assist survivors of trafficking. This part-time hybrid role involves facilitating classes and providing emotional support, requiring strong communication skills and fluency in Spanish. Ideal candidates will have experience in trauma-informed environments and a commitment to the well-being of clients.
Reporting to the Manager of Economic Empowerment, the Economic Empowerment Advocate supports and assists the Economic Empowerment Program. Specifically, the Economic Empowerment Advocate helps the Economic Empowerment Specialist facilitate classes, provide emotional support to survivors of trafficking, and support with required reporting and documentation.

About the Position
Reporting to the Manager of Economic Empowerment, the Economic Empowerment Advocate supports and assists the Economic Empowerment Program. Specifically, the Economic Empowerment Advocate helps the Economic Empowerment Specialist facilitate classes and provide emotional support to survivors of trafficking. The Economic Empowerment Advocate also assists with administrative responsibilities including but not limited to documentation, reporting, and client communication. The Economic Empowerment Advocate maintains a relationship with clients that fosters trust and understanding through client communication and follow up. The ideal candidate has strong administrative and communication skills, and experience working with survivors or individuals who have experienced trauma.

This job is based in New York City and is a hybrid position, requiring 2 days per week in office (Wednesday & Friday mornings).
