Salt Lake County is seeking a skilled administrator to manage a range of programs, including economic development efforts, grants, and public-private partnerships. The role focuses on research-driven policy, strategic planning, and external communications to support community growth.

Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least four years of experience, with strong negotiation, writing, and data analysis skills. Some hybrid work options may be available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree plus four years of related experience or equivalent.
• Background check via fingerprinting and RAP Back enrollment required.

Responsabilités

• Oversees research, strategy, partnerships, and contracts for programs.
• Manages federal grant programs, including policy design, marketing, and renewals.
• Prepares RFPs and negotiates contracts for programs.
• Identifies and promotes new business opportunities and research efforts.
• Assists in developing and monitoring annual budgets and mid-year adjustments.
• Presents to councils, commissions, and the public on behalf of the department.
• Prepares publications, marketing materials, and educational resources.
• Performs data analysis and creates statistics to simplify complex data.
