Job summary

Arcata Economic Development Corporation (AEDC) seeks an Economic Development Administrative Analyst to support grant-funded programs and the administration of public funding across the Northern California coast. You will use initiative and strong analytic skills to assist with contracts, budgets, and reporting, working closely with Executive staff.

This full-time, benefitted position is grant-funded for about two years, with employment contingent on funding.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of administrative, budgetary and organizational analysis.
• Experience with public programs and funding administration is preferred.
• Understanding of basic budget principles and public agency operations.

Responsibilities

• Perform analytical work to support project teams and collaborate with Executive staff.
• Assist with contract processes, policy development for funding and contract administration.
• Monitor budgets and invoices, and prepare financial reporting and analyses.
• Coordinate across counties in the service region and travel in Northern California.
