Job summary

Qualifications

• One year of progressively responsible administrative experience, preferably in a public agency.
• Equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in public administration, business administration, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and analytical support for Economic Development functions.
• Coordinate activities with City departments, outside agencies, and businesses to streamline processes.
• Assist with implementing department, operational, and City-wide programs and policies.
• Prepare staff reports and correspondence; support program development and evaluation.
• Develop and implement customer education on permitting and approval processes.
• Conduct research, analysis, and evaluation on assigned programs and areas.
• Represent the City with outside agencies and attend professional meetings as required.
