The Kickapoo Traditional Tribe of Texas seeks an Economic Development Director to lead its business development efforts. This role involves strategic planning, managing business ventures for profitability, and collaborating with enterprise managers. Ideal candidates should hold a Bachelor's degree with significant business management experience, preferably within Native American contexts.

The Economic Development Director (EDD) is responsible for leading the KTTT business development efforts, developing a strategic plan, and creating policies related to business development as established by the Tribal Council and Tribal Administrator. The EDD will oversee the development and operations of business ventures, ensure the delivery of excellent customer service to clients and customers, and coordinate with all subsidiary managers to ensure maximum returns to the tribe.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field; three (3) years of business development/management experience.
Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree in business administration or related field; four (4) or more years of experience; knowledge of retail, land development, and gaming.
Preference is given to KTTT tribal members and qualified Native American tribal members in recruitment, hiring, promotions, layoffs, and reductions in force, provided they meet minimum qualifications.
