Job summary

Compass Lexecon LLC is seeking Analysts to join the firm by the summer of 2027. The Analyst role requires a strong foundation in microeconomics, data collection, and a range of research tasks, including quantitative and qualitative analysis.

Analysts work with case teams and economists on a variety of projects, from data gathering to preparing expert reports and client presentations, ensuring high-quality work and methodological rigor.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an analytical field.
• Demonstrated quantitative and qualitative research and analytical skills.
• Interest in economics, finance, statistical programming, and data analysis.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Collects information from identified sources and summarizes it for economists.
• Performs data gathering, spreadsheet modelling and regression analysis.
• Contributes to preparation of expert reports and client presentations.
• Maintains documentation and manages data in project work.
