Qualifications

• Eligible for December 2026 or Summer 2027 graduation with a focus on quantitative research in economics, business, finance, or related fields.
• Completion of an honors thesis, research apprenticeship, or research seminar is highly desirable.
• Ability to explain economic, financial and accounting concepts and perform quantitative and qualitative analyses.
• Proficiency in Excel, Stata, Python, R, SQL, SAS, ArcGIS/ArcPy or cloud computing platforms.
• Effective written and oral communication skills and a curiosity to learn new skills.
• Demonstrated initiative, leadership, teamwork, time management and prioritization.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with PhD economists and finance professionals on research projects.
• Perform economic and industry research and analyze client materials to identify issues.
• Develop financial/economic analyses and valuation models to support case theories.
• Build models and run regressions using Excel, Stata, R, Python, SQL or SAS.
• Review analyst reports, literature, client documents, and industry press for insights.
• Prepare research summaries and expert reports with visual presentations.
• Ensure analysis reliability through quality control checks.
