Ulta Beauty is seeking a Senior Manager of Ecommerce Transportation to lead a three-analyst team, own carrier relationships, and drive day-to-day execution that shapes the guest experience. This build-role will establish quarterly business reviews, develop a carrier scorecard, and partner with IT, Store Operations, and Planning on transportation initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in ecommerce transportation, parcel carrier management, or omnichannel fulfilment operations; minimum 3 years in a people leadership role.
• Demonstrated track record of developing people — can name specific individuals developed, interventions made, and outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high-performing transportation team — set clear performance expectations and development goals for three analysts, establish weekly operating cadence and accountability between analysts and the Director.
• Own end-to-end carrier relationship management — lead quarterly business reviews with national and regional carriers, present performance data, and document commitments.
• Drive same-day ship compliance, carrier pickup window adherence, and exception rate tracking across 1,000+ ship-from-store locations; lead carrier pilot execution.
• Partner with Process Owner to build and maintain the carrier scorecard and performance infrastructure — define internal and external OTD metrics and drive weekly performance reviews.
• Manage carrier spend accountability and cost optimization — track cost-per-shipment, manage surcharges, and audit invoices for annual parcel spend.
• Serve as the primary Transportation interface with IT, Store Operations, and Supply Chain Planning on routing changes and inbound capacity.
