Job summary

Ulta Beauty is seeking a Senior Manager, Ecommerce Transportation to lead its parcel delivery operations and own carrier relationships, ensuring an optimal guest experience across the omnichannel network.

You will coach three transportation analysts, lead quarterly carrier reviews, and partner with IT, Store Operations, and Supply Chain Planning on transportation-impacting changes. This role is built to expand partnerships and improve performance across 1,000+ ship-from-store locations.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in ecommerce transportation, parcel carrier management, or omnichannel fulfilment operations.
• Minimum 3 years in a people leadership role.
• Proven track record of developing people with measurable outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high-performing transportation team — set clear performance expectations and development goals for three analysts, build a structured weekly operating cadence that creates coaching opportunities, and serve as the accountability layer between analysts and the Director.
• Own end-to-end carrier relationship management — lead quarterly business reviews independently with national and all active regional carriers, presenting performance data and documenting commitments.
• Drive SFS network compliance and carrier pilot execution — own same-day ship compliance, pickup window adherence, and exception rate tracking across 1,000+ ship-from-store locations.
• Partner with Process Owner to build and maintain the carrier scorecard and performance infrastructure — define OTD metrics and run weekly transportation performance reviews.
• Manage carrier spend accountability and cost optimization — track cost-per-shipment, surcharge management, and invoice audits for annual spend.
• Interface with IT, Store Operations, and Supply Chain Planning on carrier configuration and routing changes.
