Job summary

Fort McCoy Ranch is seeking a dedicated order fulfillment associate to pick, pack, ice, label, and ship customer orders. You will be the voice customers hear on phone and see in emails and social messages, shaping their satisfaction with every shipment.

You’ll work with the Ecommerce Manager, handle inquiries, learn products and processes, navigate Shopify, maintain inventory, and keep the workspace organized for smooth operations.

Position Summary

This role is the direct link between Fort McCoy Ranch and our customers. You'll pick, pack, ice, label, and ship every order that goes out the door, and you'll be the voice customers hear on the phone and see in their emails and social messages. More than any other role, this position shapes whether a customer is happy with their order - from how it's packed to how it arrives to how they're treated if something goes wrong.

You'll work closely with, and report to, the Ecommerce Manager, keeping them proactively informed on order status, issues, and anything customers are telling us.

Key Responsibilities

• Pick, pack, ice, label, and ship customer orders carefully and thoughtfully so they arrive in great condition.
• Communicate proactively with the Ecommerce Manager on order status, issues, and anything that needs attention.
• Answer the company phone and talk directly with customers about their orders.
• Respond to customer emails, social media messages, and comments.
• Stay calm and professional with customers, including in moments when a customer is upset or unreasonable.
• Learn our products, processes, and order flow well enough to independently handle day-to-day customer questions within the first few weeks.
• Navigate Shopify, our internal tools, email, and general computer use comfortably and accurately.
• Keep inventory of products, boxes, and other packing materials up to date.
• Keep the workspace organized and efficient - this is crucial to how smoothly the whole operation runs.

Physical Requirements

• Able to lift multiple 50+ lb packages throughout the day.
• Comfortable working in extreme cold (our packing freezer) - proper cold-weather gear is provided.
• Able to stand for a full shift.

• Comfortable with basic computer systems and willing to learn Shopify and our internal tools.

Schedule & Logistics

• Full-time, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM.
• A company cell phone is provided for handling customer calls during the workday.
• Cold-weather gear is provided for freezer work.
