Job summary

Slate is seeking an eCommerce Merchandising Specialist to expand our accessory, wrap, and merchandise catalog. You will manage content in Akeneo, coordinate digital assets, and launch new products on schedule with a customer-first approach.

You will work with product, design, marketing, and commercial teams to showcase our offerings in compelling, conversion-driven ways, while leveraging AI to maximize efficiency in catalog tasks and content reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, merchandising, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years in ecommerce merchandising, catalog management, or product content operations.
• Experience owning a product category or end-to-end workstream with light oversight.
• Hands-on experience in a PIM or CMS; Akeneo preferred, training available.

Responsibilities

• Execute merchandising strategy across the ecommerce experience, keeping storytelling consistent.
• Maintain accessory, wrap, and merchandise catalog in Akeneo; flag data gaps.
• Apply field-level standards for titles, attributes, images; ensure quality.
• Collaborate with product managers to gather inputs for launches.
• Own product setup: data entry, asset coordination, SKUs live on schedule.
• QA English and Spanish content; translation service in place.
• Leverage AI to improve efficiency and output quality across catalog tasks.
• Build/update product pages, collections, and placements for GTM moments.
• Pull and report on performance data; flag what's working or not.
• Log site issues and improvement ideas for UX/engineering; support travels 5-10%.
