Job summary

Slate Auto is seeking an experienced Ecommerce Merchandising Specialist to grow our accessory, wrap, and merchandise catalog. You will manage product content in Akeneo, coordinate assets, and ensure new products go live accurately and on time.

You’ll work with product, marketing, design, and commercial teams to showcase our products in compelling, conversion‑driven ways. The role requires detail‑oriented, organized work in a fast‑paced startup environment with 5–10% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, merchandising, or a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3–5 years in ecommerce merchandising, catalog management, or product content operations.
• Hands-on experience with a PIM or CMS; Akeneo preferred; training available.

Responsibilities

• Execute the merchandising strategy across the ecommerce experience, maintaining consistent brand storytelling on every page.
• Maintain the accessory, wrap, and merchandise catalog in Akeneo and flag data quality gaps.
• Apply field-level standards for titles, attributes, and image specs; ensure accuracy.
• Collaborate with product managers across categories to gather catalog inputs for launches.
• Own data entry, digital asset coordination, and SKU publishing on schedule.
• QA English and Spanish product content; translation services are in place.
• Leverage AI to improve catalog tasks, documentation, and content review.
• Build and update product pages, layouts, and placements for go‑to‑market moments.
• Pull and report on product performance data; flag what’s working and what isn’t.
• Log site issues and improvement ideas for UX and engineering.
