As the E-Commerce Manager for Society6, you will play a crucial role in our Merchandising team, supporting Society6 Group’s journey to a curated retailer with a strong focus on retail and digital merchandising. You’ll lead the execution and optimization of our online shopping experience, driving alignment between brand vision, product strategy, and customer experience, and manage the day-to-day maintenance of Society6.com. This position supports a variety of content, site merchandising, and marketing activities to ensure the Society6 website truly reflects the brand and our campaign strategies.

You’ll Report To: Senior Director, Merchandising & Planning

A typical day as a E-Commerce Manager might include:

  • Manage homepage updates, collection pages, and on-site storytelling aligned to campaign calendars and business goals.
  • Brief and QA content for new product launches, promotions, landing pages, and any ad hoc pages as needed.
  • Ensure content reflects UX best practices, brand standards, and delivers a cohesive customer experience.

Analytics & Optimization

  • Monitor KPIs including landing page and content block engagement, conversion, bounce rate, and click-through to surface insights and track trends.
  • Partner with the Product team on A/B testing initiatives and site enhancements.
  • Recommend optimizations to navigation, taxonomy, page structure, and content placement.
  • Ensure adherence to corporate deadlines to deliver projects on time, maintaining efficiency and reliability in the product launch process.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Merchandising and Marketing teams to align product launches, category goals, and editorial storytelling.
  • Align on brand go-to-market plans and develop the seasonal digital retail calendar.
  • Partner with Product and Marketing teams to recommend and track SEO and Performance Marketing PDP optimizations, test campaigns, and improve organic visibility.
  • Coordinate creative asset needs and content workflows across the Creative and Product teams.

Scalability & Special Projects

  • Support ongoing site development requests, product betas, and merchandising tests.
  • Help evolve documentation and internal processes that improve workflow efficiency.
  • Support ad hoc assortment planning or lifecycle analysis in collaboration with the Merchandising team.
  • Partner with category managers to review performance trends, sales insights, and product opportunities.
  • Flex into campaign merchandising efforts during peak periods or team transitions.
  • Lead or co-owning special merchandising projects or artist-focused campaigns.

What you bring to the table:

  • Strong knowledge of CMS tools (e.g., Shopify Plus, Contentful), E-Commerce UX, and SEO best practices.
  • Familiarity with GA4, Google Data Studio, Excel/Sheets, and A/B testing tools.
  • A proactive mindset with a strong eye for detail and design.
  • Analytical and Communication Skills: Strong analytical abilities combined with effective communication and presentation skills.
  • Standard work hours with occasional late evenings or off-hours support required to execute time-sensitive site updates and campaign flips.
  • Initiative and Accountability: Proven ability to take initiative, ownership, and responsibility for projects and outcomes.
  • Teamwork and Multitasking: Demonstrated sense of teamwork with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Experience: 3–5 years of experience in e-commerce, site merchandising, or digital marketing, ideally in a creative or consumer-facing business.
  • Workplace Contribution: A desire to contribute positively to creating a collaborative and engaging workplace environment.
  • Market Insight: Passion for shopping and browsing both online and physical stores to stay informed on current trends and maintain a pulse on the market.
  • Work Ethic: A casual and informal approach combined with a strong sense of responsibility and personal accountability.
  • Occasional travel may be required as well as in-person meetings, when applicable.

Base salary for US candidates: $75,000 - $85,000
