A leading company is seeking an eCommerce Finance Analyst to join their Financial Operations team. This role entails assisting with month-end close processes, preparing VAT return filings, and optimizing financial workflows. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, with 3+ years of relevant experience, especially in eCommerce or the music industry. Position: eCommerce Finance Analyst
Pay Rate/Range: $39.25 per hour
Hours: Remote, open to candidates working EST hours (9:30 AM - 5:30 PM)
Location: New York, NY
Duration: 4 + months
The eCommerce Finance Analyst will play a key role within the Financial Operations team at Fame House. This position involves assisting with the month-end close process, preparing sales data for VAT return filings, managing the Fame House corporate card, and optimizing financial processes. The Analyst will report to the Senior Director of eCommerce Finance.
Key Responsibilities:Assist in the month-end close by supporting schedules and ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Ensure timely and accurate preparation of EU, AU, and UK sales data files for VAT returns, including processing payments promptly.
Compile and code carrier charges received from Logistics.
Manage the Fame House Corporate Card and collaborate with internal departments to retrieve necessary documentation.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
Contribute to special projects aimed at improving financial processes, systems, and operational efficiency.
Support ad-hoc projects as required.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (preferred).
Experience: 3+ years in Finance/Accounting roles, ideally in the music industry or eCommerce space.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work independently.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and writing skills; ability to interact with business partners at all levels.
Collaborative team player with a high level of attention to detail and organizational skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience with SAP, Monday.com, and SharePoint is a plus.
