Job summary

pladis is seeking a Demand Planner, eCommerce, to develop and manage forecasts and inventory plans across channel partners such as Costco.com, Amazon Fresh, and more. You will translate commercial strategies into actionable forecasts while balancing service levels and profitability.

The role requires 5+ years in demand planning and strong analytical skills, Excel mastery, and cross-functional collaboration. Flexible working arrangements are available with strong benefits.

Qualifications

• Essential criteria: applying demand planning and forecasting principles in a commercial environment.
• Experience managing multiple products, categories, or channels within a dynamic planning environment.
• Ability to analyze complex data and translate findings into actionable business recommendations.
• Competencies include cross-functional collaboration, influencing and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Own the category- and item-level demand planning and forecasting across assigned eCommerce channels.
• Develop sales and inventory plans aligned with channel objectives.
• Create pre-season and in-season forecasts using historical data and promotional plans.
• Review actual sales vs forecast and identify meaningful trends and variances.
• Collaborate with Channel Leads, Marketing, and Merchandising to incorporate campaigns into forecasts.
• Translate demand forecasts into supply requirements with Supply Planning.
• Monitor inventory health and mitigate excess or obsolete inventory.
• Provide in-season performance updates by channel and suggest corrective actions.
• Support new product introductions and seasonal programs with aligned demand and supply.
